"Making your vision a reality." That's been my slogan for 20 years and I think holds true through today. I love designing something out of nothing. I love taking an idea and designing, building and preserving it.
For 20+ years I’ve been a student of design and achieved expertise with a few tools, processes and perspectives along the way. What I've learned the most is designs and perspectives are ever changing through time. What one person likes is not necessarily what the next person likes. And that person will change their perspective again based on their environment that also changes with time. Then don't forget the age-old quote, "history repeats itself." That's exactly why bell-bottom jeans are in-style again. If you understood that, you're halfway there. What I try to do for clients is get them to think simpler for a brand to last longer. Know your audience for your product or service and we'll design around that and then incorporate your vision.
About Me
Here are a few things about me
The Dingabee has so much expertise in all aspects of design from photography to logo branding, to print publications to large format printing. From website design and development to file formatting and rasterized art to vector art. From printing on 3-dimensional swag to embroidery and sewing. Then, from landscape design to structural design, to engineering design including 3D modeling and drafting.
To pursue formal design education, I enrolled at a local community college and attained an associate degree in drafting and design then later continued on to a 4-year school achieving a bachelor’s in graphic design. In between schools, I had the honor of serving in the Air Force for 8 years as a combat camera operator and still photographer. These years of service provided additional college credits and another certificate, equal to an associate degree in photography.
Over the last 20+ years much has advanced in the field of design as is the case with most professional fields. It’s been thrilling to participate in this advancement through first-hand experiences. I recall getting started with film cameras and ACTUAL film with various lenses. In the military, we were just beginning to experiment with in-field digital cameras which had a huge battery pack attached, which were incredibly heavy to carry.
I even recall an 8-week course on 35mm film development and processing with a machine so tall you had to stand on a step ladder to clean and maintain it. Of course, digital cameras replaced all of that even though they were big and heavy at first too. Of course, they too became smaller, lighter, more powerful and phone cameras have now replaced those. Computers and software programs came on the scene to make everything more user friendly. Today, we’re at yet another leapfrog moment with the introduction of Artificial Intelligence. It’ll be exciting to see the capabilities this brings us. My how times have changed!
Simply put, when working with me designing nearly anything is possible for today or for tomorrow. The perspective will change through time and so will I.

The Dingabee knows Adobe products and software.
He is a master of Photoshop. He has taken several classroom hours and received two certificates since 1995 when Photoshop was the only Adobe product software out there with a dongle key that was placed in the back of your CPU tower.
Since then, mind you, Adobe has become a premiere software industry that has taken digital photography, video and illustration editing to the highest level. Has also made it as user friendly as possible.
I am also a pro Adobe Illustrator user. Vector graphics are used for so many applications in the design world from print to embroidery to 3D modeling. It all starts with vector art.
Adobe Premiere video editing and now character Animation. All Adobe software editing that is a main tool for Dingabee Designs.
